VIKING SUCCESS
Congratulations to all who took part in any part of the recent Viking marathon. The dedication and commitment people put into their training and preparation is exemplary. A special mention to our own superman Pat Fitzgerald who came home in first position in the half marathon. Pat puts a lot of work into his training and deserves the awards he has been reaping. We wish him continued success.
A big well done to all the volunteers who helped at the water station at Kildermody. I’m sure all the participants were thrilled to see them and they gave great encouragement to all those taking part. Jerry Forde from Blarney in Co. Cork was taking part in his 530th marathon and stopped off to say hello and have his photo taken with the volunteers

A WISH FOR THE WEEK AHEAD.
May you remember that you have the choice to be kind.
May you grow from your experiences, or at least survive them.
May your frazzled brain find moments of rest and hope.
May your resolve be steady, your coffee be fresh,
And may all your phone calls, be texts.
