GAA Lotto
Ballyduff Lower GAA club held their recent lotto draw on Sunday February 16th and the numbers drawn were 4, 8, 11 and 15. There was no winner of the jackpot but the three lucky dip winners of €50 each were Margaret Elliffe, Derek Laffan and James Walsh. The next draw will take place on Sunday March 2nd and there will be a fantastic jackpot of €12,500 on offer.
Tickets cost just €2 each or three for €5 and can be purchases from all committee members, online or from the volunteer ticket sellers who will be at Centra in Kilmeaden on Saturday March 1st. This lotto is a major fundraiser for the club, and they are very grateful to everyone for their support.
Easter Camp
If you are aged between 6 years and 13 years old and would like to learn to cook some beautiful, tasty dishes, you are invited to take part in an Easter Cooking Camp. The camp will take place from April 14th to April 18th in Ballyduff Community Centre from 10am to 1pm. The cost is €110 which includes all ingredients, equipment and recipes. Everything is cooked by the participants, and they will bring their finished dishes home to enjoy and share with the family. Ballyduff AFC
Ballyduff AFC have released some very important dates in their annual calendar. Their popular Easter camp will take place from April 14th to April 18th and their Summer Camp will run from June 23rd to June 27th. These camps are very popular so check out the club’s Facebook page for booking details.
The club would like to say a very special thank you to Tom Barry from Larchville who generously donated a First Aid kit for the U15 Boys team. The club are very grateful for his support.
The club send their deepest condolences to their division 4 player and U11 girl’s coach Sean French on the recent death of his Dad Liam. May he rest in peace.
Congratulations to club player Katie Murphy and the Waterford Women’s and Schoolgirls League Under 12 team who recently won the Munster Interleague Shield.

The Ballyduff/Portlaw Bridge Club played their latest game on Monday February 17th and the results were as follows:

Community Alert.
Our local community alert group will hold their AGM on Wednesday February 26th at 8pm in Ballyduff Community Centre. This will include an informative talk about security from Deirdre O Neill, Crime Prevention Officer and Ronan Devaney from Secureview Security. All are welcome to attend and if anyone wants to join the Community Alert Text Scheme, please bring the yearly fee of €10 and your contact number.
LGFA Awards Scheme.
The Lidl Plus Rewards Scheme returned on February 17th and every ladies gaelic football team is in with a chance to win €50,000. We all have the opportunity to help our local team by collecting the stamps in Lidl when we are doing our shopping. Each time we spend €50 we receive a stamp and when 4 stamps are collected your card can be submitted. The club you have selected needs to collect at least 50 stamps to be in with the chance of winning. Please select Ballyduff Lower LGFA and help the team to have a chance of winning.
