Bridge News, Barndance and Autumn Stations

Bridge News.

The Ballyduff/Portlaw bridge club met for their usual bridge game on Monday September 26th and the results were as follows:
1st: Kate Hayes and Sean Hennessy.
2nd: Joan Hartery and Ann Cox.
3rd: Anna Harney and John Fitzpatrick.
4th: Eileen Kirwan and Mary Kennedy.

Barn Dance.

Unfortunately the decision had to be made to cancel the planned barn dance. There was a slow uptake on tickets and so costs would have been just covered and no profit made so would have made no sence to run it. The committee thank all who had bought tickets and look forward to your support for future events. There will be plenty more events coming up so please keep an eye to these notes.
Remember there are still some slots available in the hall if you or anyone you know are interested in starting up an activity or class. The Winter time is creeping up on us and people are looking for new hobbies or maybe a card game, bingo etc. If you have any ideas or suggestions please contact Marie on 089-4348844.
