Eastern Final.
All roads lead to Walsh Park on Saturday October 15th at 2pm as Ballyduff take on Ballydurn in the hurling Eastern Final. The lads have put in a lot of training and effort into their preparation and have played some fine games in the run up to the final. It’s our chance to get behind the lads and cheer them on. Let’s see the red and white cover Walsh Park and hear the mighty Ballyduff cheer.

Recycling Time
You may remember me telling you about the recycling drive that was coming up at Ballyduff AFC well get clearing;it has arrived. Collect up all your recyclable clothes, bed linen, curtains, shoes, bags etc and drop them to the club room at the soccer club any week night between 6pm and 8pm. This will run until November 11th so there is no excuse you have plenty of time to clear out those wardrobes and hot presses.
Parent and Toddler
A reminder to all parents, guardians and childminders that Ballyduff’s parent and toddler group run every Friday morning from 10am to 12 noon in Ballyduff community centre. This is a perfect opportunity for the adults to meet up for a chat and a cuppa while the babies and toddlers are busy playing toys and making new friends. You do not have to stay for the full two hours just pop in when you can.
Double Delight.
These good wishes are a bit late but I had my reasons for that. I wanted to give this family the time they needed to adjust to their new life and get the peace and quiet they needed to get themselves strong and ready to face the world. Tom and Jacinta Reddy were busy preparing for the arrival of their expected twins when those twins decided that life on the outside looked too exciting and interesting so they surprised everyone by arriving earlier than expected. Tom and Jacinta are over the moon to have been blessed with two beautiful daughters Ava and Sophia. Of course these delighted parents are very lucky to have great help at home from the girls big brother Scott. Scott is now in 3rd class and so has gathered a wealth of knowledge which he can pass on to his sisters. We sincerely wish this lovely family every happiness and may their futures be full of good health, happiness and laughter.
